What Is a Telescopic Prop?

An adjustable steel shore under slab and beam formwork. Sizes and models are on the product page.

What does it do?

A telescopic prop is an adjustable steel support under slab and beam formwork before the pour. Nested tubes and a fine-adjustment nut set working height to the soffit.

Prop spacing follows slab load and formwork geometry. Confirm height and coating on the product page models.

How does it work?

The outer tube sits on the base; the inner tube is set with a pin, then the nut fine-tunes the level. A flat, U or T head takes the bearers.

Head type is specified on the order. Use the selection guide on the product page for the next steps.

Where is it used?

Most often under slab and beam formwork, and wherever working height is finalized on site.

The live height and finish list is on the product page.

Where do you choose size and model?

Heights, coatings and quotes sit on Espada’s telescopic prop product page — not in this article.
